March is here, which means longer days, warmer temperatures, and the beginning of spring coat changes! At OnlyPaws Grooming, we’re celebrating with festive Saint Patrick’s Day treats, seasonal add-ons, and important spring grooming reminders to keep your pup healthy and comfortable.

As temperatures begin reaching 40–50°F (which is happening right now in Indiana!), fleas and ticks start emerging.
Even indoor dogs are at risk.
Prevention is much easier — and much cheaper — than treating an infestation later.

From a professional grooming perspective, this is the time of year I may start seeing early flea dirt or irritated skin during appointments. Preventative care keeps coats healthier, cleaner, and much easier to maintain.
Please make sure your pet is starting their flea and tick prevention now to avoid issues later in the season. Infestations require additional bathing and sanitation, and we definitely want to prevent that stress for your pup.
